Small Groups at

At New Life, “our mission is to share life with our community” and one way we do this is through small groups.

The purpose of a group is to help you form and strengthen godly relationships and grow as a disciple of Christ (Acts 2:42, 5:46).

What is a disciple?

A disciple is someone who intentionally pursues to be more like Christ each and every day both individually and in community with other disciples. They do this by taking specific steps to grow in the following areas: Community, Discipleship, Serving, and Mission.

Community - We place value on the relationships around us, both inside and outside the church. Knowing that our honour for people is a reflection of our honour for God (Gen 1:26; Mark 12:30-31; James 3:9-10)

Discipleship - We learn both individually and in community, how to live out our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that honours Him, establishes His kingdom and blesses those around us. (Luke 9:23; 2 Tim 2:1-2; John 13:34; Acts 1:8)

Serving - We realize we are stewards not owners. That we have been entrusted with gifts, an ability to earn money, skills and talents to establish God's kingdom by serving and helping those both inside and outside the church in need. Revealing the Image of God. (Acts 2:42-47, 4:32-37; Duet 8:18)

Mission – We understand that we are apart of God’s mission to extend His multi-ethnic kingdom in all areas of life (Matt 6:9-13, 28:19-20; Gen 12:1-3; Acts 4:25-26; The book of Ephesians)

We have many different types of groups to help you find one that fits your needs. Below you will find a description of each group type and the option to search for a group by name or type.
